How the matching works
Zone matches the plant's hardiness range. Size overlaps the plant's typical mature height range in cultivation rather than a label, so borderline plants appear in both neighbouring sizes. Sun and moisture match what each plant is known to tolerate, and "must have" boxes narrow to plants that carry every trait you tick. The counts beside each box show how many plants would remain if you ticked it too.
When nothing fits, the site is usually the problem rather than the catalog: tell us the zone, soil, sun and what the tree needs to do, and we will suggest something.
