Trees & Shrubs for Fall Color
Native trees and shrubs known for the color of their leaves in fall.
We grow 129 trees and shrubs known for their fall leaves. Of these, fifty-three are shrubs, among them fragrant sumac, arrowwood viburnum and gray dogwood. The trees run from American hornbeam and chalk maple to black gum and cherrybark oak. Why leaves turn red and yellow in fall explains the colors and which native trees give each one.
